How can someone making money over horrible tragedies? Virginia tech massacre tragedy is not even a month old, and within hours someone has registered the domain of the tragedy for profit. Before the Virginia tech massacre tragedy, well known tragedy such as 9/11 and Asian tsunami has also been subjected to this kind of practice. It is a well known and common practice among web profiteers to register the domain for a very low cost and auction it for a relatively high price.
McChesney is the man behind Virginia Tech massacre domain registration. Under his name, he registered CampusKillings.com, VirginiaTechMurders.com, and SlaughterInVirginia.com. Although he said the websites are used to condemn the firearms, nevertheless in the end he will use it as a tool to make profits. As you can see at the bottom of each website, the website is up for sale. Moreover, he said that his practice will not harm other people as he described it as: “Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic”.
People affected by the tragedy have expressed their disgusts to the practice. I am personally thought that this man is morally wrong as he has the attention to make profit out of someone’s misery. Instead of reselling the website, the man should dedicate the website to remember the victims. Please give your thoughts.

Well, that’s a shame for those who have kind of idea in mind. However, I think if you have a neutral point of view, you’ll see the problem. Like Nimh point of view “everything happen for a reason” in her entry http://nimh.wordpress.com/2007/05/31/sci-fi-thoughts/
Where there is a demand, there’s a supply. So, shame on those who join hands with them.
